Steve: Bike Ride
Nick, the sponsorship thing was to do with raising it. Here's news of this Sunday's ride. I have about 3 takers so far from work. I can imagine it's a hassle for you to come up so don't worry about it:
"The plan is to ride West along the Thames path for as far as we feel like and then come back. This will include Hampton Court. Meet outside the St Paul's church in Queen Caroline St - opposite Hammersmith & City line tube. You can take bikes on there.
We will meet there at 10am (lay-in for Luke then)."
BTW I got Matthew a 2ndhand Carrera Kraken MTB at the weekend for 120 from a local ad. Looks good - ALU, front Tektro disk, 24-speed. The chain came apart last night but I'm hoping it's just from where the guy serviced it and didn't put it back properly.

I don't think the sponsorship is a big thing: last year I got hardly any, and
I don't think it would matter if you didn't get any at all - after all, you do pay to enter so you'll be contributing to the charity just by entering.
We're going to Exeter for a wedding this weekend but may be coming back on Saturday evening (wedding is on Friday) in which case I will try to get up to London for Sunday. I thought Tim was in Ibiza this weekend but it turns out he's not, so maybe he'll be able to join in as well...?
